Most of all we wanted to build in time so members would also have more time between speakers to meet and talk with sponsors who came on board. This was a way to members share their knowledge with their fellow members. When we looked at speakers for the symposium we also look at a new idea to have members workshops being lead by fellow ISAP members. Then we loaded back up on our bus for a sunset photography session at Pina Air and Space Museum. A T-6 Texan and A4 Skyhawks was put on display for photography and lighting class for members to watch and take part. Starting out with Nikon NPS giving a presentation on lighting techniques that would come in handy later in the day and ISAP member Scott Germain leading a discussion on aviation photographers.įollowing the morning discussion, we headed out to Marana Regional airport where members enjoyed a short airshow demo followed by a tour the facility at the airport. Our major goal for this symposium was for members to be able to get together and learn from each other.Īdded to this symposium was a pre-workshop and over 25 ISAP members took part.
